A downloadable game for Windows

Current World Record is Wave 68.

Overcooked with tower defence ferrets wave system, inspired by Streamer Thor's fan base. You find yourself hosting a table spread for his growing fan-base. You must strategically invite his fan base(ferrets) at the correct time and accommodate the ever spreading stress, ensuring you don’t overwhelm yourself.

  • Earn cash to buy more tables and food upgrades.
  • Place random tables strategically to accommodate as many ferrets as possible.
  • Some food causes/calms stress, some food gain/cost money. Balance cash flow and stress to continue expanding the spread.
  • Call the next wave early to gain extra cash, but beware, unseated ferrets cause a lot of stress from all the running and jumping over tables. Don't block their path either.... they will jump instead causing stress around them!
  • Everyone hates the Meat Cake.

I played it for a while. Very chaotic. Interaction and UX is very smooth. The ferrets growing in numbers was very well implemented and hilarious. Wish I had a bit more time to breath and understand when selecting new food, but that might be a skill issue. Also wish the game didn't immediately start so I could get my bearings, but I caught on fast enough

The game pauses when you select the food (the menu) but easy to miss since it's so chaotic hahaha. Thanks for playing & comment

Oh really? I think I just assumed I was constantly in trouble lol

Ok right attempt 1 I got to wave 40. It was all going so well and then the stress just spiked suddenly and I couldn't recover :(.

Ok really though how the hell did you manage to make this in 3 weeks. Visually this game is crazy and what I'd expect out of a full blown indie game. The game is also stupidly fun to play as someone who loves games like Plate Up and Overcooked. Balance feels pretty good, I fell like I could have potentially just spammed chicken and been fine but possibly not.

Good luck, and good job on submitting!

Try to beat my score of 68! (I'm currently the record holder according to OvertimeGameDev)

Fascinating little game. Visually, just... absolutely spectacular. Love the little ferrets so much. Balance wise, it felt like it was pretty easy to get an absolutely enormous score just by spamming tables with whatever whenever you put stuff down, occasionally get some meat down to keep stress down, otherwise just whatever worked. Still, it was enjoyable! Good luck!
